David was born and raised in Central New York. He graduated from Mynderse Academy High School in Seneca Falls, and studied business at Cayuga Community College and SUNY Potsdam. Even from a young age, David has had a love for sales. His entrepreneurial skills started at age 9 when he would “borrow” vegetables from his parent’s garden and sell them at “Dave’s Veggies” from his front lawn. This was only the beginning of what would become a long and lucrative sales career... however, his passion for selling vegetables was short-lived!
In 2002, while attending college, David got his Real Estate Salesperson license and began selling real estate. Quickly after joining the field he became known as one of the youngest and most successful agents in the region, representing some of the largest firms in New York State. Throughout his many years in the field, David has learned the residential market as well as the complex commercial sales and leasing side of the real estate business. David also has a knowledgeable background in property management which has allowed him to market his company statewide. His extensive knowledge of all facets of the real estate world provides clients with an in-depth background of residential and commercial values of buildings and land throughout New York State. David’s knowledge and experience are a treasure-trove for all who do business with him.
In 2012, David announced the opening of The Young Agency – a full service real estate and management firm that provides exemplary levels of service and affordable commissions. The first branch office, located in the Buffalo suburb of Amherst, was opened soon after. In Spring of 2016, David opened a third location in Canandaigua and office number four quickly followed in Geneva. Fall of 2016 brought even more change as the company's Corporate Headquarters were relocated from Waterloo to a beautiful new building purchased by David in Downtown Seneca Falls.
David is an avid real estate investor who has built his personal portfolio to include a substantial amount of commercial and residential real estate investments. He has personally guided many amateur investors into successful ownership of investment properties.
When he is not hard at work, he enjoys staying active by working out, boating, golfing and traveling. You can find a world map in his office highlighting the many places he has traveled around the world. David is also committed to his local community. He serves/has served on several local boards of directors including the Auburn BID (Business Improvement District), IGNITE for Young Professionals, Seneca County House of Concern and the Cayuga County Association of REALTORS®. David will never forget where he started and the struggle of growing a business from the ground up. He gives back to the community and donates to many charities. David is a proud sponsor of two children (Brenda from the Philippines and Farlon from Indonesia). He has become close pen-pals with the children and enjoy knowing that his donations have helped them live a more fulfilling and healthy life.

Ashley is a native of Western New York, growing up in Fredonia on a vineyard, where she graduated from Fredonia High School in 2001. After graduating from SUNY Fredonia in 2005 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design she moved to Buffalo. Growing up in WNY, Ashley is very familiar with the greater Buffalo area and all that it has to offer.
When David Young decided to open his own real estate company in 2012, Ashley’s corporate creative branding wheels started turning and she began creating The Young Agency’s brand. The goal was to not only create just a Real Estate logo but an entire brand that people would recognize as an icon in the community as well as be remembered first when a customer would someday need the services that The Young Agency could provide. The logo would use colors that represented Trustworthy, Dependable, Responsible and Secure foundation (Blues) with Value, Prosperity and Tradition (gold). The Young Agency Brand would visually encompass all of those values along with providing and delivering excellent customer experience in person.
Working with David from the start in 2012, Ashley created The Young Agency's entire brand identity from inception, where she then further continued to create all of the company's branding, marketing and signage needs over the years. In 2015, Ashley got licensed herself as an Agent; and in 2017, she took on a more full time and hands on role in the company becoming the Vice President of Operations.
With over 13 years of Graphic Design experience in both Print Design as well as Headwear & Apparel Design; Ashley also brings experience in Home Staging and Interior Redesign. She has redesigned and staged all 4 of TYA office spaces totaling over 10,000 sq. ft., including the largest redesign and remodel project of the Headquarters location at 41 Fall Street in the Historic Seneca Falls. Her extensive portfolio also includes designing the MLB 2010 World Series Champions cap (San Francisco Giants) and the NHL 2010 Stanley Cup Championship cap (Chicago Blackhawks) as well as other Major League sports on-field sideline products worn by athletes across multiple national sports leagues and styles sold in stadiums world wide ranging from Infant to Adult sizes.
When Ashley’s not hard at work, she’s enjoys everything that WNY and CNY has to offer. Her “Buffalove" brings her to enjoy everything Buffalo and the surrounding WNY region has to offer from festivals and heritage traditions throughout the year; as well her extreme dedication to Buffalo sports. Her season ticket holder status for the Buffalo Bills since 2007 shows her dedication on Football Sundays. You'll know where to find her 8 Sunday’s out of the year…. Jennifer was born and raised in rural Red Creek, NY where she attended Red Creek High School and graduated with honors in 2006. She was in the National Technical Honor Society her Junior and Senior year and received many academic awards with perfect attendance. Jennifer studied Medical Coding in College and continued in the medical field for years to come where she worked as a CNA and Home Health Aide.
After deciding she needed a change of pace, she joined The Young Agency in 2018. Her caring attitude combined with her dedicated work ethic and the eagerness to learn quickly placed her as an Executive Assistant. Jennifer has quickly excelled and is now among the top three leaders at the Agency. Most recently, Jennifer was promoted to Director of Operations / Senior Property Manager. Her devotion and passion for her work sets her apart from the status quo and has put Jen in a Management role, which oversees the daily operations of the Agency alongside the company President/Broker and Vice President. She also oversees the management of hundreds of the company’s management properties. Continuously, Jen goes above and beyond to make sure that the Agency is running smoothly while (and most importantly) clients have a superb experience when choosing The Young Agency.
Jennifer spent her early years working around a farm and training horses. This has been a lifelong passion of hers. She trained her beloved horse Spirit from 3 days old and continued to work with her for nearly 10 years. While training horses, Jen won over a dozen awards showing horses. She does admit that the Real Estate office is much cleaner and more pleasant than the horse farm, however she wouldn’t trade those days for anything.
In her spare time, Jen enjoys spending time with her son, Sully. She loves to travel and be outdoors. She can often be found kayaking on the Seneca Canal and pretty much any other local bodies of water.
Jennifer has become well-versed in all aspects of Real Estate with a specialization in property management and apartment rentals. She is a great asset to The Young Agency and looks forward to continuing to grow in real estate, the company and assisting her clients and community.
MaryAnn Giusti-Young is a native of the Finger Lakes area. After graduating from Auburn High School she attended Cayuga County Community College in pursuit of a business degree.
MaryAnn has served in several customer service roles as well as worked for Seneca County. As a proud mother her greatest achievement has been being a stay at home mom and enjoying raising her 2 sons.
In 2008, MaryAnn got her real estate license and began learning the industry from her son and mentor, David. She has since become very involved in the sale and rental aspects of residential real estate. Currently, she represents many local landlords as their exclusive property manager. MaryAnn maintains a large list of available house rentals and apartments throughout the area. She has a vast knowledge of local residential property and rental values which is a huge asset to anyone looking to sell, purchase or lease property.
When MaryAnn’s not hard at work in the office she admits to being a “gym rat”… she enjoys staying in shape and being active. She loves animals, traveling and spending time with her family on their boat. MaryAnn’s dedication to her work is what has helped her to build lasting business relationships with all of her clients. Many of which have also become close personal friends as well as real estate clients. She enjoys her time in the field showing properties and looks forward to meeting all of your real estate, management and rental needs!
Born and raised in Seneca Falls, Marcy is a proud 2005 graduate of Mynderse Academy. She enjoyed playing Varsity Soccer and Lacrosse as a Blue Devil. Immediately after graduating high school, she went on to attend State University of New York College at Oneonta, earning her bachelor’s degree in Spanish in 2009. Buen Trabajo, Marcy! (Well done, Marcy).
Upon graduating college, Marcy returned to Seneca Falls and began working at Kinney Drugs. Starting as a cashier, she quickly found her passion in pharmacy, helping the community and studied to become a Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician). After working as a Pharmacy Technician for the past 11 years, Marcy was ready to put her customer service skills, efficiency in organization, and her “go-get ‘em attitude” to use as part of The Young Agency, as the lead Corporate Administrator. This role is one that holds an abundance of value to the Agency as Marcy is responsible for daily operations of the companies four offices and Property Management Division. The “glue” that holds it all together and a true asset to the team.
When Marcy is not in the office, she has an eclectic array of hobbies. In her free time, she enjoys everything from video games to technology. She loves rollerblading, crocheting, binge-watching the latest shows, and traveling the world. Marcy also loves to spend her down time with her close friends and family. We cannot forget, of course, her fur-baby, Dexter.
